Poslouchej - Anthrax

Anthrax

Thrashmetalová skupina založená v New Yorku r. 1981 (Scott Ian nar. 1963, Lilker 1964, Spitz 1963, Belladona 1965). Na konci 80. let řazena do tzv. silné čtyřky amerických metalových kapel. K mnoha personálním změnám došlo už v prvním roce existence. Po natočení alba Fistful Of Metal odchází Lilker a Turbin, na jejichž posty přicházejí Bello a Belladona. V roce 1982 odešli Connelly, Kahn a Weiss, naopak do kapely nastupují Turbin, Walls a D´Angelo. Když přišel Walls, mění Lilker kytaru za baskytaru. V dalším roce do kapely přichází Benante (namísto D´Angela) a Berry (namísto Wallse). Berryho po dvou týdnech střídá Spitz. V novém složení se představují na EP Armed And Dangerous (1986). Po albu Spreading The Disease následuje turné s W.A.S.P. a Black Sabbath a rovněž ?bokovka? S. Iana a C. Benanta
