JAK TO ZAČALO Historie kapely Marilyn Manson se začíná datovat od roku 1988, když zpěvák a kytarista Brian Warner a kytarista Scott Mitchell Putesky vkládají své úsilí a své nápady do skupiny, které začnou říkat The Spooky Kids. Svojí image zakládají na pestrém zevnějšku a vtipných pseudonymech propůjčujících si jména hollywoodských celebrit a masových vrahů. Už není více Briana Warnera a Scotta Puteskyho, nyní se seznamte s Marilyn Manson a s Daisy Berkowitz. Tito pionýři pozdějších Marilyn Manson postupně přibírají klávesistu Zsa Zsa Specka a basistu Olivia Newton-Bundyho. Post bubeníka zůstává neobsazen a kapela začíná vystupovat s automatem.
